Staff Profiles

As this is our first issue of Management momentum, we want to take this opportunity to introduce everyone to our department staff:

MARALYN DAVIS is the lead Administrative Assistant for our department. Maralyn's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting Dr. Taylor in all areas of his departmental functions, as well as managing the office staff and work flow. While Maralyn is new to the University of North Texas, she is not new to the academic environment. She has a B.A. in Political Science and several hours of graduate work from Texas Women's University, as well as thirty l ears of professional experience.

VIRGINIA JONES, is the Office Manager. She has worked at UNT for 3 ½ years and in our department for six months. Virginia is responsible for supervising the part-time staff, coordinating textbooks, maintaining course information, and preparing faculty travel an purchase orders. In short, she makes sur that things run smoothly in the office for faculty, staff and students. Virginia received a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Maryland in 1991. When she's not dealing with the everyday crises involved in raising two teenage children, she loves going to the theater and watching basketball.
