The University of North Texas invites applications and nominations for the position of Chairperson, Department of Management, beginning Fall 2008.
The chairperson is responsible for providing academic, administrative, and professional leadership for the department. In addition, the chairperson is expected to lead the department in developing external relations, including fundraising. The position includes limited teaching responsibilities and reports to the Dean of the College of Business Administration.
Candidates must have an earned doctorate in management or related field; strong interpersonal and communication skills; evidence of successful teaching, research, and service; and the ability to carry out the administrative requirements of the position effectively. Administrative and external fundraising experience is preferred. Credentials must be sufficient to warrant a tenured appointment. Salary is competitive.
The College of Business Administration is accredited by AACSB International. The Department of Management has more than 500 majors, including over 200 graduate students. Degrees in management are offered at the B.B.A, MBA, and Ph.D. levels.

Full Time Lecturer Position
Information Systems
University of North Texas Denton Campus
Rank and Salary: This is a full time lecturer position beginning Fall 2008. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Requirements: Candidates should have a master’s degree in information systems or related field or they should have completed at least 18 hours of graduate coursework in information systems or a related field and have professional experience in the field. Candidates the position should have teaching skills in both introductory and advanced information systems major courses. More consideration will be given to people with teaching experience in the introductory courses.
Responsibilities: Candidates are expected to teach a maximum course load of 4-4, with a minimum of 3-3 during the academic year. However, course loads are determined by coverage needs, class size and service activities.
