Biography Carol Ann Frost Bio for COBA website June 15 2008 Dr. Carol Ann Frost, Bernard Coda Professor of Accounting and coordinator of the Accounting Ph.D. program, joined the UNT faculty in 2007. Previously she was Associate Professor of Accounting and Law at the University at Buffalo, SUNY. Dr. Frost also has worked as an independent global capital markets consultant, as Associate Professor of Business Administration at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, and held appointments at the Olin School of Business at Washington University. Professor Frost teaches in the areas of financial accounting, financial analysis, and international financial reporting. Her research focuses on the role of financial reporting and disclosure in global capital markets, global capital issuance and trading, and the role of credit rating agencies in capital markets. She has published widely in the leading refereed accounting academic journals, and co-authored a market-leading international accounting textbook. Dr. Frost has been a member of Nasdaq’s Listings Qualifications Panel since 2004, and served on the Nasdaq Listing and Hearing Review Council from 1999 until 2004. She has been a strategy consultant to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP Global Capital Markets Group, and previously worked with the International Professional Standards Committee of Coopers & Lybrand International. Dr. Frost holds Ph.D. and MBA degrees from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of British Columbia.
