Dr. Lew Taylor is a member of the Academy of Management and Decision Sciences Institute and has researched extensively in strategy, decision-making, and other behavior topics. He has served as consultant to a number of organizations, including General Motors, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, The United States Air Force, Wal-Mart, and other private, government, and nonprofit organizations. A former fighter pilot with the United States Marine Corps, Dr. Taylor also served as a fighter/reconnaissance pilot with the Air National Guard.

Dr. Taylor's publications appear in a number of journals including Decision Sciences, Employee Responsibilities and Rights Journal, Group & Organization Studies, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior Management, and Organizational Behavior & Human Decision Processes. Dr. Taylor recently stepped down as the founding Director of the Murphy Enterprise Center and served as Chair of the department as well.  He is currently writing a new book based on his leadership experiences in academia.
