The members, officers, and faculty advisors have developed the following goals for the 2008-2009 academic year.
| 1. | Recruit speakers for each student organization meeting. |
| 2. | Provide the student members with networking opportunities with supply management professionals in the local region for internships, jobs, or mentoring and guidance on career development. |
| 3. | Increase interaction between student chapter and local Chapters (resume book, ISM - Dallas Leonard Ingram Memorial Scholarships, ISM Doctoral Dissertation Grants, student attendance at professional meeting, etc). |
| 4. | Increase awareness of student chapter among UNT students (i.e., website, speaking in freshman classes, classroom recruiting, etc.). |
| 5. | Communicate activities of student chapter to other locations (i.e., UNT South Dallas, UTD). |
