Professor Niu received a BA in Sociology and an MBA in Technology Innovation Management. Before entering the Ph.D. program, he served in the army as secondary lieutenant and also worked in an accounting firm in Taiwan.

Professor Rogers received her BBA with a double major in Economics and Marketing. While an instructor with the United States Air Force, Professor Rogers sought an MS in Computer Education and Cognitive Systems at UNT. Upon graduation, she joined the College of Business Administration at UNT to pursue a doctoral degree majoring in Management with an emphasis on Operations Management and Statistics. Professor Rogers has a wide array of business experience in several industries including corporate and military training, software development, website development, and various manufacturing positions.

Lisa Russell

Professor Russell graduated Magna Cum Laude with her BBA in Marketing and Management and was awarded her MBA with an emphasis in International Business from Northeast Louisiana University (NLU), Monroe, Louisiana (now known as University of Louisiana at Monroe.) She lived in Hong Kong and attended courses at Shu Yan College as part of her MBA studies while working as an international business consultant. Upon graduation, Professor Russell worked globally as a marketing and education director and consultant for several of the world’s largest cosmetic companies in the health and beauty industry. She also managed several privately owned businesses. Most recently, Professor Russell worked for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the nation’s largest, non-federal law enforcement agency. She has joined the College of Business Administration at UNT to pursue a doctoral degree majoring in Management with an emphasis on Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship.

Troy A. Voelker received a BBA in Finance from Sam Houston in 1993 and an MBA with a Management concentration in 2003. During his academic career he has advised or consulted for small to mid-size firms in the lodging, automotive, and software development sectors. His professional work experience includes corporate treasury management, retail banking, and public program management. Having worked through a number of mergers involving platform and process change, he has developed a research interest in organizational change.
