MBA in Health Service Management

The MBA in Health Services Management is designed to prepare the future executive leadership in the health services industry by providing students with requisite business management skills and the latest knowledge of health services administration. The program comprises traditional topical areas dealing with the operation and management of acute, home, and long-term care health services organizations. In addition, the program is designed to prepare students for the unique challenges of managing integrated health care delivery systems, physician group practices, and managed care organizations.

Background Courses (13.5 hours)

All students must fullfil the MBA Program's background course requirements.* These background courses are equivalent to foundation courses of an undergraduate business program and will be waived where appropriate after evaluation of transcripts.

*Note: ECON 5000 is waived for the Health Services Management concentration.
