The Master of Science in Information Technologies is designed to provide an appropriate base of knowledge for entry into the management information systems profession. The program is intended for those students who desire a strong, specialist degree in the strategic management of information technology. Graduates of the program pursue careers as information technology (or systems) analyst, engineer and specialist, data systems developer, web systems developer, data administrator, and web systems administrator. Because of its specialization and focus, the Master of Science in Information Technologies differs significantly from an MBA program, which is designed for those students who desire a more general management background.
