This scholarship is awarded through the Dallas Chapter of the Tax Executive Institute. It is awarded to a top level student in the Master of Accounting in Taxation degree. This scholarship is the largest award made in the amount of $1,500.

My name is Lauren Miller, and my hometown is Wichita Falls, Texas. I am currently working as a grader for a couple of accounting professors. I am an accounting major, and my specialty area is tax. In December 2005, I will graduate with a BS/MS in Accounting. I will work for KPMG, a public accounting firm, upon graduation.
The Tax Executive Institute Scholarship ($1,500) will help relieve me from the financial pressures of attending a university. These scholarships will also allow me to give my full attention to my education.
