The Business Foundations minor is designed to provide a foundation in business concepts, operations and practice. The program consists of six courses (18 hours) which may be taken by non-business students in good academic standing.
Required courses include:
- ACCT 2010: Accounting Principles I (Financial Accounting)
- ACCT 2020: Accounting Principles II (Managerial Accounting)
- MKTG 3650: Foundations of Marketing Practice
- FINA 3770: Finance
- MGMT 3820: Management Concepts or MGMT 3720: Organizational Behavior
- 3 hours from any 3000-4000 level College of Business course
Recommended: Completion of the university core mathematics and economics requirements. ACCT 2020 and ACCT 2010 are prerequisites for all
upper division (3000 and 4000 level) business courses.
